Types of Surgical Tables

An operating table is also called surgical table. It can support patients during surgery and adjust the position according to the needs of the surgical operation to provide a convenient operating environment for doctors. Operating tables are the basic equipment of the operating room.

Divided into two types according to the driving and control methods, namely electric operating table and electro-hydraulic operating table.

According to the operating room department, it is divided into comprehensive operating bed and specialized operating bed. Comprehensive operating bed is suitable for thoracic surgery, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, otolaryngology, urology and so on. Specialized operating beds are divided into delivery beds, orthopedic operating beds, neurosurgery operating beds, and ophthalmic beds.
